We are delighted to be able once again to present “Have Yourself a Swingin’ Christmas!” -- A concert featuring everybody's favorite holiday jazz classics.

Back by popular demand this year’s show, featuring pianist Josh Condon and Friends, promises to be even better than last year’s inaugural event. In addition to internationally renowned vocalists Nancy Kelly and Michael Civisca, Josh will be accompanied by cousin Gabe Condon on guitar, Jeff Krol on drums, Joey Arcuri on bass and Chad Lefkowitz-Brown on saxophone. The Ithaca College Jazz Ensemble directed by Mike Titlebaum, and UNYC, directed by Dr. Janet Galván, will also make special appearances.

This performance continues Civic Music’s commitment to support emerging local and regional talent through our unique approach to community outreach. Our goal with this new program is to provide emerging talent with the experience of performing for a full house at the CMoG auditorium. The talent selected to perform will come from recommendations from well established music educational programs from the area. For over 80 years CCMA has successfully delivered on its primary mission to provide a variety of live musical performances made available through a member subscription series accessible to a diverse audience. Since 1975 we have also provided an in-school youth program that acquaints our local youth with their musical heritage by bringing established musicians into the classroom who provide instruction and host Q&A sessions with the students.
